Eclipse (2019-X)
by Natthaya Thaidecha & Daniel Huete

Where does light go to escape? Does it settle itself in between the crests and troughs of shadows?

Eclipse is merely one chapter in an otherwise long journey, it began by facing our intrinsic, traumatic memories through the visual medium, memories about death and uncertainty, about pain and fear that live in our subconscious.

Connecting moments that exist in different times and places as a single voice.
It symbolizes “momentary darkness”, and also stands for the inseparable continuity of life/death as a cycle.

Together, we traversed to find the light that exists in the deep dark ocean, despite its bitter cold, and the courage it takes to revisit our memories.
